A start-up animal welfare organization focused on supporting, creating and executing life-sayving solutions for homeless pets in the U.S., Aruba and Puerto Rico. Currently accepting foster apps from Chicagoland (and extended burbs) as well as Fort Wayne, IN. We are currently based in Plainfield, IL, but have operations in Chicagoland and the suburbs, and we are working o

n expanding in Fort Wayne, IN. We accept foster applications from the areas mentioned, but in unique circumstances will also accept foster and adoption applicants in other areas of IL and IN. We are foster-based, meaning we do not have a brick-and-mortar facility. Getting a facility is DEFINITELY on our list of to dos (hopefully not too far in the future). We also hope to expand into farm animals and open a farm sanctuary. We consider ourselves no-nonsense, hardworking individuals coming together to support animals (and their humans) in the most efficient and effective ways. As a start-up we realize we have a lot of groundwork to lay, but we can't do it without your support.

You may remember these two tiny bugs who came into care at just 9 days old, battling severe upper respiratory infections and needing intensive, round-the-clock support from the start.

We’re so excited to share that June Bug and Lightening Bug are now thriving kittens! 🎉

These two have made an incredible turnaround. They’re eating like champs, packing on weight, getting stronger every day, and starting to show off their big personalities. What started as fragile, critical neonatal care has turned into the happiest kind of chaos—wiggles, squeaks, and growing confidence.

They still have a bit of growing to do, but the difference is night and day. These bugs are active, sturdy, and fully in their “we’re here to cause trouble” era 🐾

Moments like this are exactly why we do what we do. Getting them through those early critical days takes intensive care, time, and resources—and support makes it possible to say “yes” to the next tiny lives who need us just as much.

We’ll continue to monitor them closely, but for now they’re busy doing exactly what they were meant to do—thriving 💛

🆘 DHARMA UPDATE + URGENT FOSTER NEEDED 🆘

We have an update on Dharma, and while we're still waiting on the results of her viral panel, some of her test results have come back and her veterinarian now suspects that she may have FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis). 💔

FIP is a serious disease caused by a mutation of feline coronavirus. While it was once considered fatal, advances in treatment have changed the outlook for many cats, and successful treatment is now possible when medication is started early and given consistently. ❤️

🚨 MOST IMPORTANTLY: DHARMA NEEDS A FOSTER HOME ASAP. 🚨

Dharma's treatment consists of a once-daily liquid that must be given at approximately the same time each day for 84 days. We will, of course, provide the medication, supplies, and support throughout her treatment.

And honestly? Dharma is an easy cat to love. ❤️

This beautiful dilute tortie is a gentle, sweet girl with a quiet personality. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but with patience, kindness, and a few treats, she quickly begins to come out of her shell. Once she feels comfortable, Dharma enjoys playtime, cozy naps, and simply being near her people.

Right now, she needs someone willing to open their home and provide a safe, consistent environment while she completes treatment. Having a dedicated foster could make all the difference in her recovery.

We know this is a big ask, but are really hoping that someone will step up and help this cutie pie. 😔🙏

🆘 EMERGENCY FUNDRAISER FOR DHARMA 🆘

Rescue has a way of ALWAYS throwing the unexpected at us, and right now we're worried about one of our own. 😞

On Monday (6.8.26), Dharma suddenly began experiencing uncontrollable episodes of passing clear liquid stool 💩. It came on without warning and continued despite supportive care at home. After several hours without improvement, we rushed her to the vet in hopes of finding answers 🏥.

Unfortunately, Dharma was unable to provide a stool sample during her appointment, so testing could not be completed at the clinic. She has since started medication, and we've submitted both bloodwork and a stool sample (finally!) for additional testing. We're currently awaiting the results of a CBC, viral panel, and f***l testing to help determine what's causing her symptoms.

The hardest part? We simply don't know what's wrong yet. 😞

Dharma joined the as a stray in October 2025 alongside her siblings. Earlier this year, one of her sisters passed away suddenly from FIP, making this situation even more frightening for everyone who loves her.

While we don't know whether Dharma's condition is related, her history means we need to take every symptom seriously and rule out as much as possible.

Anyone who has met Dharma knows what a special girl she is. Despite her petite size, she has always had a big personality and an even bigger heart. Watching her feel unwell, and not having answers yet, is incredibly difficult.

Between her exam, diagnostics, laboratory testing, medications, and any additional treatment she may need, veterinary costs are already adding up quickly. We're asking for your help as we work to get Dharma the care she needs and, hopefully, the answers she deserves. ❤️

Happy💲5️⃣ FRIDAY ❣️

Today, we're hoping to raise $100 to help cover Remy's veterinary care. 🏥

Remy recently joined the after being surrendered to us when someone attempted to give him away on Facebook. The individual who surrendered him shared that he had taken Remy in after his previous owner moved out of state, left him behind, and stopped responding to all communication. 😢

After experiencing so much instability, it's no surprise that Remy struggles with some separation anxiety and trust issues. He also struggles with trusting men, and is still working on his manners with other doggies.

Remy came to us with no known veterinary history and had not received any vetting that we were aware of.

Below are some of Remy's veterinary expenses:
🐾 $150 – Neuter
🐾 $80 – DHPPL vaccines (2)
🐾 $20 – Rabies vaccine
🐾 $20 – Bordetella vaccine
🐾 $50 – 4DX test

In addition to his medical care, we've provided Remy with basic supplies, as well as supplies to help him feel safe and comfortable, including a ThunderShirt and calming chews. We may also need to explore anxiety medication to help him adjust and thrive.

Thankfully, Remy landed with an absolute ROCKSTAR foster who has been incredibly patient, understanding, and loving as he works through these challenges. ❤️

Ya boy Ritz is looking for an adopter OR a foster home asap❣️

This precious pup recently moved into what was supposed to be his adoptive home, but unfortunately we received news today that someone in the household is having a severe allergic reaction. 😩 As a result, Ritz needs to be returned as soon as possible.

His original foster had planned a trip shortly after his adoption and isn't able to take him back, so we're urgently searching for a new placement.

Ritz is SO cute and such a good boy. ❤️ He was the biggest pup in our Snack Litter and has been winning hearts ever since. He loves playing with other dogs and does well with kids too 🐶👶! He hasn't met any cats yet, but because he’s a puppy, we are confident that he could learn really quickly.

🌸Ohhh sweet Savoy! 🌸

Born around March 26, 2026, this beautiful dilute calico is a thoughtful, gentle kitten who likes to take her time getting to know new people and places. While she’s the most reserved of her siblings, every day she’s learning that people can be pretty wonderful.

Once she’s comfortable, Savoy’s playful side comes out—especially for wand toys and Churu treats! She also loves other cats and has become especially attached to the adult foster cat in her home. Because of this, she must be adopted into a home with another young kitten or a friendly, playful cat.

With a little patience and a feline friend by her side, Savoy will blossom into a loving companion full of quiet charm. 💕
