What a joy it was to celebrate the incredible volunteers who make VantagePoint so special! šŸ¤

Our Point Award recipients are Jim & Paula Kerruish and Fred & Kathy Tennapel! These four truly ā€œget the pointā€ of what we do as a churchā€”loving God, loving people, and faithfully serving others.

We are so grateful for every person who gives their time, talents, and heart to VantagePoint. We couldnā€™t do what we do without you! šŸ«¶

After 6 years of faithfully serving our church and pouring into the next generation, we are so grateful for Pastors Kyle & Carly Brannam and the impact they have made at VantagePoint. šŸ¤

Their love for Jesus, our students, and this church family has left a lasting mark, and we are so thankful for every prayer, every message, every late night, every event, and every moment they have invested along the way.

This Sunday will be their final Sunday with us. Join us after service for desserts as we celebrate the Brannams, honor their 6 years of ministry, and send them off with so much love as they step into what God has next for their family.

For the past 6 years, the Brannams have faithfully loved, served, and poured into the students and families of VantagePoint. We are so grateful for the countless memories, relationships, and impact they leave behind.

Last night, we went out and covered our local schools in prayer! šŸ™ā¤ļø

Teams spread out across El Dorado County to pray over students, teachers, staff, administrators, and families as they step into a new school year. We prayed for protection, wisdom, peace, strong friendships, and for the presence of Jesus to be felt on every campus.

But our prayers donā€™t stop after one night. Letā€™s cover our county in prayer all year long! šŸ™Œ

Prayer guides will be available this Sunday with a list of schools throughout our county. Grab one, choose a school, and commit to praying for that campus throughout the school year.

Letā€™s believe together for God to move in our schools and in the lives of the next generation! šŸ“ššŸ™

35 backpacks. 35 kids reminded that they are seen, loved, and worth showing up for. šŸŽ’šŸ¤

Our Foster Care Ministry had the privilege of filling 35 backpacks with school supplies and a whole lot of hope for local kids in foster care as they head back to school!

We are so thankful for every person who donated, shopped, packed, prayed, and helped make this possible. Because of your generosity, these kids get to walk into a new school year with what they need and with a tangible reminder that their community is cheering them on.

This is what it looks like to be the hands and feet of Jesus. šŸ«¶
