The El Dorado Community Foundation was proud to be part of the 20 Mile Taste, supporting the incredible work of El Dorado County Ag in the Classroom!
Ag in the Classroom helps ensure that the next generation understands the importance of El Dorado County agriculture through hands-on educational experiences that bring local farms, ranches, forests, watersheds, food, and natural resources to life for students.
It was particularly wonderful to see their mission come full circle at 20 Mile Taste, with students from our own local high school programs helping make the evening a success, including Union Mine FFA, Ponderosa FFA, and El Dorado High School Natural Resources students.
These young people weren’t simply helping at an event; they were demonstrating exactly why agricultural and natural resource education matters. By connecting students to the land, industries, and people that make El Dorado County so special, we are cultivating informed and engaged future leaders who will help carry our agricultural heritage forward.
Congratulations to El Dorado County Ag in the Classroom on another wonderful 20 Mile Taste! We are grateful to support an organization dedicated to teaching a growing generation and investing in the future of El Dorado County.
