Bears By Your Side Handmade Teddy Bears for children at crisis. Founded by Cruz Fregoso. After the Sandy Hook Elementary crisis, Cruz wanted to do something to help kids in crisis.

Porch treasures! Our dear bear maker Jennifer Groza left these today following up to the fleece and stuffing she left earlier in the week. Jennifer let me know that with her delightful wedding approaching she needs to take a break from bear making for a couple of months....gee...imagine that. We are soooo incredibly happy for her. We thank her, too, for all the treasures. 🐻❤️🐻❤️🐻

I post a lot of pictures of the wonderful bears we get from our even more wonderful bear makers but here we are in the middle of June (not even half way through the year) we have 60 going out this week bringing us to 1051 bears given out so far this year. This is why I post pictures of the bears we receive. Our bear makers have made more than 1051 (some in inventory) bears this year. THAT is incredible. And even more incredible is that 1051 children (and young at heart) are receiving the comfort of a new bear friend. 🐻❤️🐻❤️🐻
