Military Family Support Group We are family members that have a loved one who is either active-duty or a veteran(s). We are dedicated to supporting our local military/veteran families.

Since 2005, the Military Family Support Group (MFSG) has been open to all family members and friends who have, or who have had, a loved one serving in any branch of the U.S. Military. We are a volunteer-led, community-based, non-political, non-religious, non-profit organization. We always welcome new members, donations, and sponsors! The Military Family Support Group is made up of individuals who are determined to make a difference in the lives of local military families:

We understand what it means to have a loved one serve in the armed forces whether they are:

deployed in a combat zone or not;
stationed on US soil or not;
career military or not;
wounded or not;
active duty or a veteran
..we know and understand the complicated emotions and special situations that military families experience. We are here if you need us! We meet on the 4th Tuesday of each month at the Veterans Memorial Building in Placerville (130 Placerville Drive), at 6:30 pm. All are welcome! If you are a military/veteran family in El Dorado County and need information, moral support, financial aid, or a hand up, please contact us at (530) 497-0878. If you know of an EDC veteran who has sustained any kind of wound in the war on terror, please nominate he/she for one of our gorgeous, hand-made patriotic quilts. Nomination forms are available on our website: MFSGonline.org
