America’s Grow-a-Row is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Pittstown, NJ.

America’s Grow-a-Row’s mission is to positively impact as many lives as possible through a volunteer effort of planting, picking, rescuing, and delivering free fresh produce. At America’s Grow-a- Row we:

• Provide fresh, healthy produce to those in need
• Educate people of all generations about hunger and ways to help
• Introduce our youth to farming and healthy eating
• Cultivate in tomorrow’s leaders the habit of giving back
• Contribute to the sustainability of agriculture

✨30 MILLION POUNDS OF FRESH PRODUCE DONATED🌽👩‍🌾✨

We have something huge to celebrate today! Since our founding in 2002, we have grown, gleaned, and distributed 30 million pounds of fresh food to communities in need. This didn’t happen alone - it happened thanks to our supporters, volunteers, donors, board members, staff, and anyone who has touched the program over the years! We can’t thank everyone enough for helping us help others each and every day. 🫶🌽

We believe everyone deserves access to fresh, healthy food, and we will continue to work hard to provide free produce for our neighbors in need in New Jersey and 28 other states.

We’re thrilled to share that America's Grow-a-Row is a recipient of a Neighborhood Partners Program grant from the PSEG Foundation!

This grant will help us grow more free, fresh produce for our neighbors experiencing food insecurity. We’re grateful to the PSEG Foundation for investing in our mission and the communities we serve.

At America's Grow-a-Row, we grow, GLEAN, and give free fresh produce to communities in need!

This year, we expanded our food rescue program and partnership with Sheppard Farms, gleaning fresh produce at their beautiful farm with the help of The Community FoodBank of New Jersey and New Jersey Agricultural Society. Thanks to the generosity of Sheppard Farms, volunteer support by CFBNJ, and the distribution efforts of Farmers Against Hunger (New Jersey Agricultural Society), we were able to glean and donate nearly 14,000 lbs. of fresh produce, providing 56,000 servings for families and individuals in need of healthy food.

We’ve been busy harvesting, gleaning, and delivering free fresh produce to communities in need with the help of thousands of volunteers! So far, we’ve distributed 1.5 million pounds, providing 6 million servings of produce for our neighbors in need. 👨‍🌾🤝🍅

What happens when community partners come together for a shared purpose? More than 11,000 pounds of tomatoes harvested and 45,000 servings of fresh produce for people facing food insecurity. 🤝👨‍🌾🍅

Last Friday, The Provident Bank Foundation brought together community partners for its first-ever Day of Service at America’s Grow-a-Row.
We’re grateful to The Provident Bank Foundation for choosing our farm for this special day and to all of the partners and volunteers who came together around a shared commitment to strengthening our communities.

Thank you to everyone who rolled up their sleeves and helped turn a day of service into 45,000 servings of impact!
