🌲⛺ Pack 61 had an incredible Spring Campout weekend!

Our Scouts stayed busy with hiking, a movie night under the stars, building and racing boats in the Raingutter Regatta, visiting a petting zoo, competing in the Golden Skillet cooking competition, and an exciting tug-of-war challenge.

The weekend concluded with our Rank Advancement Ceremony. Congratulations to all of the Scouts who earned their next rank, and a special welcome to our new Tiger, Wolf, Bear, Webelos, and Arrow of Light Scouts!

We're proud of all their hard work and achievements this year and can't wait for more adventures ahead! 🐯🐺🐻🏕️⭐

Today we marched together. Not just to celebrate, but to remember. Memorial Day reminds us that the freedoms we enjoy and the communities we build were made possible through the service and sacrifice of those who gave everything for our country.

As Scouts, we honor that legacy by living the values of citizenship, service, respect, and helping others. Thank you to all of our Scouts, families, and leaders who represented Pack 61 in today’s parade and helped continue this important tradition.

Please join us in taking a moment to remember and reflect on the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.

May we enjoy the day, but never forget the reason for it. 🇺🇸

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms, grandmothers, stepmoms, guardians, and leaders who make every adventure possible. Thank you for the rides, the patience, the snacks, the encouragement, and the countless moments of support that help our Scouts grow with confidence and character.

Today we celebrate the women who teach kindness, resilience, and service by example every single day. We hope your day is filled with appreciation, laughter, and maybe even a little peace and quiet.

The rain didn’t get us down! 🌧️ Pack 61 had an awesome night learning from our local first responders and getting up close with their incredible trucks and equipment.

A huge thank you to Raritan Township OEM, Flemington PD, Raritan Township PD, Flemington-Raritan Rescue Squad, Flemington Fire Department, and Raritan Fire Company for spending the evening with us and sharing what you do to keep our community safe. 🚒🚓🚑

Our Webelos Den finally camped together again—and it was a blast! 🏕️

Scouts worked on Let’s Camp, practiced fire-starting and knots, and used GPS and a weather app to complete a 2-mile hike for Tech on the Trail. They also helped cook dinner for the Chef’s Knife Adventure. 🌯

From s’mores and pancake flipping to fishing, skits, and songs—it was a weekend full of fun and learning!

Webelos Scouts were also able to thank their leaders, Mason Garrity and Tom Verbeyst, who earned their Wood Badge for all their hard work and dedication to Pack 61. 👏

The Pinewood Derby is always an exciting time for our scouts! Our scouts not only designed and decorated their cars, but also followed the race rules and displayed incredible sportsmanship—win or lose! 🏁✨

A big thank you to our amazing scouts, dedicated leaders, and supportive parents for making this event a success. And let’s not forget our local first responders who joined in the fun with their own race! 👮‍♂️🚒
