Friends of ACRe Jonathan Dekel-Chen

Jonathan Dekel-Chen, whose son Sagui was held hostage in Gaza for 498 days after October 7, has joined Columbia University as a history professor. He will teach, among other topics, modern Israeli history. Sagui was released during a temporary ceasefire in February 2025.
