Pittsford Crew provides middle and high school students in our region the chance to experience the great sport of rowing - offering teamwork, competition, sportsmanship, fitness, and the singular sensation of propelling boats over water with like minded people. Our goal is to have every participant, no matter their skill level, reap the benefits of participating in a demanding, yet highly rewardin

g sport. We travel to regattas in the spring and fall, and all participants race. We run several different summer learn-to-row programs. Pittsford Crew is a private club and not supported by the schools. We row out of the Warren Boathouse located near Lock 32 on the Erie Canal. Pittsford Crew senior spotlight…Aodhan Kawakyu-O’Connor attends Sutherland High School. Next fall, he will be attending Brandeis University where he hopes to learn about things he doesn’t yet know exist. His favorite memories during his time on the team include rowing in the Pittsford Regatta and at the Head of the Charles in Boston. Aodhan thanks his crew mates, his coaches, and his family for all the years of encouragement and support. Good luck to him and all our seniors!

Pittsford Crew Senior Spotlight. Mia Bonfiglio has been rowing for the past 7 years. She has loved being captain of the varsity girls team! Some of her favorite memories are going to Youth Nationals, Head of the Charles Regatta, and winning New York State Championships! Mia will be on the Division 1 rowing team at Northeastern university in the fall. Good luck Mia and good luck to all the P Crew seniors

Pittsford Crew Senior Spotlight….Kilian BaileyShea attends Pittsford Sutherland HS. He did Learn to Row in 6th grade.
Next year, Kilian will be studying French and psychology at Pomona College in California.
The best part of P Crew is…’the amazing community it provides!’ He is looking forward to the coming years! Good luck Kilian and good luck to all our P Crew seniors!!

Pittsford Crew Senior Spotlight…. Clayton Green is graduating from Sutherland. He plans to attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the fall, majoring in sociology and political science. He started rowing in 2021, after moving to Pittsford from Wisconsin. Some of his fondest memories of crew are the Brighton Burn, and competing in the Henley. He’s made some great friends on the team and will miss it! Good luck Clayton and good luck to all the seniors!

Pittsford Crew Senior Spotlight. Josh Cole attends Pittsford Mendon HS. He is going to Mercyhurst university this fall where he will continue to row and study finance. Josh joined Pittsford Crew in 7th grade as a sculler and started sweep rowing competitively in that spring.
He has enjoyed competing in the 2021 and 2022 head of the charles regatta and favorite race memory is the Pittsford regatta in the varsity 8 in 2022. Good luck Josh and good luck to all our seniors!

Pittsford Crew Senior Spotlight…. Catherine Meath is senior at Pittsford Mendon High School and will be attending Virginia Tech in the fall to study marketing and international business. Catherine joined the team in 7th grade and her favorite memories are stroking a 4 at Head of the Charles and going back a year later as coxswain of the girls 1v8

Pittsford Crew Senior Spotlight! Peter joined Pittsford Crew in the summer after sixth grade in 2017 as a Learn to Scull and Learn to Row camper. He fell in love with the sport and has especially enjoyed volunteering at those same camps during his summers and getting to know so many different coaches and athletes. Peter is graduating from Sutherland this June and will be joining his sister Annie at Williams College in the fall! Good luck Peter! And good luck to all P Crew seniors!!

Pittsford Crew Senior Spotlight! Luke Cypher will be attending Lehigh University this fall studying Finance. Luke joined the team in 7th grade and some favorite memories are racing at Head of The Charles Regatta, Youth Nationals and winning last years Pittsford Regatta in the Varsity 8 boat. Good luck Luke! P Crew Senior Spotlight….
Kai Polozie started at Pittsford Crew during the summer of 2016, in the Learn to Scull program. He has competed at the local, state, regional,and national level in men’s singles, doubles, four, and eight events. Kai attend Allendale Columbia High School. He is heading to Hamilton college in the fall, where he hopes to row with the men’s crew team. Congratulations Kai! Good luck to our Seniors!!

Senior Spotlight! Congratulations to all P Crew seniors! First up…. Chandler Tan. Is a senior at Pittsford Mendon High School. Who will be attending and rowing at the University of Rochester this fall. Some favorite memories from Pittsford Crew is rowing at and placing 3rd in our final at youth nationals, being on the HOCR 2021 and 2022 team, and of course making some amazing friends through the program."
