Please join us on Friday, October 16, as we celebrate the people and moments that have shaped us while looking toward the extraordinary possibilities ahead during our Berkshire Museum "Celebration" Gala, 6:00 - 10:00PM!

The evening will begin with Cocktails & Connections. Chef Peter Platt will provide dinner, followed by the eveningโ€™s program, featuring a live paddle raise. The party doesnโ€™t stop there! The night will conclude with a Music and Dessert Lounge and Special Museum Tour.

The funds raised enhance the Berkshire Museumโ€™s ongoing impact, including providing exciting educational opportunities for young people.

This exhibition commemorates the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, while also contributing to nationwide efforts to mark the United Statesโ€™ semiquincentennial.

On loan from the Graham D. Williford Foundation, this exhibition features seventy-three works of late 19th and early 20th century paintings.

The Educator Resource Fair at Berkshire Museum will be happening today, 4:00 - 7:00PM!

Visit our newly renovated museum and learn about the educational resources available to you as an educator in our county from all different types of institutions, not just our museum! From field-trip options to lessons brought to your classroom there is so much the county has to offer! Light refreshments to be served.

Participating organizations include The Clark, MASS MoCA, Barrington Stage Company, The Mount, Williamstown Historical Museum, Norman Rockwell Museum, Hancock Shaker Village, Ventfort Hall Mansion and Gilded Age Museum, Baseball in the Berkshires, The Mount, and Susan B. Anthony Birthplace Museum.

Event is free for educators. Pre-registration is encouraged though walk-ins are welcome with valid school ID or email. Those without either an ID or valid email can speak with a museum educator upon arrival. Go to https://berkshiremuseum.org/events-exhibits/educator-resource-fair/ to learn more.

Every Tuesday and Friday, find the Discovery Cart in a gallery with engaging hands-on object-based learning relating to the museumโ€™s exhibitions, 10:30 - 11:30AM. You may be able to touch an antler of a moose, hold the helmet of a knight, or look at an X-ray of a piece of art. There is so much to explore!
