Pike IL Crimestoppers

Pike IL Crimestoppers Crime Stoppers offers citizens a chance of a cash reward for information on current or past criminal activity while remaining anonymous to Law Enforcement

Crime Stoppers allows an avenue for anonymous tips to be submitted to Law Enforcement on past or ongoing criminal activity, information on the whereabouts of wanted persons, or information on crimes about to take place. The Crime Stopper Board consists of members from Pike County IL who meet once a month and discuss business including authorizing any payouts on arrests resulting from tips submitte

d. There is also one member from the Pike County Sheriff's Department assigned as a coordinator whom works directly with the Crime Stopper board. To remain anonymous callers must call Crime Stoppers at (217)285-1500. This line is a dedicated tip line and set up through the phone company without the ability to view information about the caller such as name or phone number. This includes the absence of caller ID or *69 function. This discretion allows callers to remain totally anonymous. When calling in tips provide the most complete details possible to call takers. When you call in a tip have a piece of paper and pen handy as you will be provided a pin number. When calling back to see if there is a payout you will have to use the provided pin number to identify yourself. Without that pin number you will not be provided any information and loose a chance to receive any payout.
