We’re proud to unveil the Little Free Library at WANDER, sponsored by Drag Story Hour Berkshires and featuring a beautiful custom Banned Books Library design by local artist Chris Kristant.

This library is a celebration of the freedom to read, the power of representation, and our belief that everyone deserves to see themselves reflected in the stories they discover. Whether you’re dropping off a beloved favorite, picking up your next great read, or simply stopping by to admire the artwork, you’re helping build a more literate and inclusive Berkshires.
Books have the power to spark imagination, build empathy, and connect communities. We can’t wait to see this little library grow with your help.

On Sunday we wrapped up an incredible Berkshire Pride season with sunshine, stories, and so much joy at Youth Pride! ☀️📚🌈
A huge thank you to our wonderful friends at ROAR for your continued support—including capturing these beautiful moments for us! 📸💛
There’s nothing better than celebrating literacy, belonging, and the next generation of changemakers together. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this Pride season one to remember.

📚✨ Join us TOMORROW at the Lee Library for a very special Drag Story Hour Berkshires!
Together we’ll celebrate the power of stories, literacy, and community while sharing a special family-friendly program inspired by Frederick Douglass’ powerful speech, What to the Slave Is the Fourth of July? Through storytelling, discussion, and joy, we’ll explore themes of freedom, belonging, and hope in an age-appropriate and engaging way.
This special program is made possible through the Reading Frederick Douglass Together initiative, and we are deeply grateful to Mass Humanities for their support in helping bring these important conversations to families across the Berkshires.
