Literacy Volunteers of Berkshire County Free reading, writing and conversational English tutoring for adult speakers of other languages

Literacy Volunteers of Berkshire County (LVBC) is a community non-profit that provides volunteers to tutor adults in reading, writing and conversational English for speakers of other languages (ESOL). Established in 1980 and located in the Berkshire Athenaeum, Pittsfield's public library, Literacy Volunteers of Berkshire County is an affiliate of Literacy Volunteers of Massachusetts. We are supported by a combination of public and private funds, including Berkshire United Way.
