The Liann Bordeau-Buck Memorial Foundation

The Liann Bordeau-Buck Memorial Foundation Formed in 2021 in memory of Liann Bordeau- Buck to provide scholarships to high school students.

Our foundation was formed in honor of Liann Bordeau-Buck who’s life journey came to an end all too soon. Five days after giving birth to her son, Wyatt, Liann passed away due to complications after a C- Section delivery. Though her journey was short, she left an impact on so many with her strong words, love of learning, infectious smile and laugh, and unconditional love for her friends and family.

Not only did Liann’s parents lose their child, her son Wyatt will never have his arms around her, hear her beautiful voice, or truly know what an incredible mother she would have been. Liann also leaves her husband and best friend, Eric, whom she married on August 15, 2015. We all needed something positive to come from this horrific event so that’s when we decided to start the Liann Bordeau-Buck memorial golf tournament in 2017, to keep her memory alive and to create scholarships for local students who have that same love of learning as Liann did. Her life motto was “You can never stop learning!”

Our foundation continues to grow each year and this year has been nothing short of amazing. We have officially upgraded from the memorial fund we once were from 2017-2020, to now being a foundation in 2021! The board members of the Liann Bordeau-Buck Memorial Foundation:
