This is so nice to see! What it took to get that exam table, first to the warehouse in Pittsfield, MA. Then, load it on to a container headed for Guaimaca, Honduras and into our own building. Next, a group of people from Suyatal, Honduras, a town 4 hours up into the mountains, came down with a truck to recieve this exam table and other equipment for their 'health center'.

This was my first visitor this morning. I have known Anthony since coming back to Honduras in 1996. Durning the thirteen years we spent in Guaimaca, I am sure I saw Anthony three times a week.I have been promising him another wheelchair for years. Finally I have a great chair for my friend. I met his mom my first visit 45 years ago. Anthony has been living in a wheel all his life and those chairs take a beating.

She told me that some years back I gave her sister a wheelchair. She told me today, that when I left after dropping off that wheelchair, her sister cried. I gave her a big long hug. This Peace Work.
