Berkshire County Grandparents & Grandchildren
 Business Venture: Our program is in the market for adult volunteers, and children in need of adult stimulation. Children matched are typically from low income, single parent families, poor school performance, or just having low self-esteem. With adult support and parents together, each child can be guided to reach short and long term goals. Our program offers young children their need for positive adult support to prevent developmental neglect that causes behavioral and learning problems.

 Description of service: To bring our community together both young and older, to give adults with little or no family close enough to spend time with a chance to share and help children that are less fortunate than those that have Grandparents or both parents. Our program will also help the children in our community to learn from people that are much older, learn to respect their elders, know they are cared for, and to understand just what the part of a Grandparent plays.
