A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who volunteered for Saturday’s cleanup at Springside Park‼️

Together, we picked up trash, planted bulbs, and painted playground equipment. We had fun, we got dirty, and—most importantly—we made a real difference in our community.

If you see any of our volunteers at sporting blue or red hair, you’ll know why! Apparently, not all the paint made it onto the playground equipment.

Honored and humbled to participate in RISE TOGETHER 2026 at Persip Park in downtown Pittsfield for Elizabeth Freeman Center.
EFC's Children Experiencing Domestic Violence (CEDV) program works with Kids' Place to ensure that children have a safe, supportive place to work through trauma, strengthen trust and relationships with their safe family members, and learn that violence is not an inevitable part of life.

The Pittsfield Parade Committee has named our very own Vin Marinaro grand marshal of this year's Fourth of July parade, themed "America 250 – Pittsfield Celebrates the Generations."

A lifelong Pittsfield resident, Marinaro has spent decades serving the community as a mentor, educator, coach, advocate and civic leader, leaving a lasting impact on generations of Pittsfield families.
