Inspiring girls to be strong, smart, and bold

Committed to meeting the needs of girls, ages 5 - 18, in the Berkshires; affiliate of National Girls Inc., girls have opportunities to participate in intentional, interactive, research-based programs. We are an affiliate of National Girls Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. Our program shares

this mission and we offer innovative programs that help girls confront subtle societal messages about their value and potential, and prepare them to lead successful, independent, and fulfilling lives. Specific national programs address resisting harmful substances, community action, healthy sexuality, science, math & technology, sports and fitness, media messages, self-defense and violence prevention, lifeskills, economic literacy and financial concepts. This program serves girls ages 5-18 with a specific emphasis on teens. Visit our web site to learn more about the programs offered by Girls Inc.

4 years ago we made our first 3-D figurine! Now we have an upgraded 3-D printer and will be integrating 3-D printing curriculum into our Summer Eureka! Program.

Today we made our first 3-D printed figure! Lucky Cat, who we’ve affectionately named Archimedes.

Thank you to Wahconah Regional High School for helping us get the printer started!

We can’t wait for our Eureka! Girls this summer to have an opportunity to design, craft and display their figures!

Thank you so much to our friends at Adams Community Bank for their donation towards our Campership Fund.

For generations, this fund has helped thousands of families access the life-changing experience of Camp Stevenson-Witawentin. Summer camp provides girls with opportunities to build confidence, develop leadership skills, make lifelong friendships, and create memories that last a lifetime.

We are incredibly grateful for the support of community partners like Adams Community Bank, whose investment helps break down financial barriers and ensures more girls can experience all that camp has to offer.

Thank you for helping us make summer camp accessible to every girl who dreams of spending her summer at Camp Stevenson-Witawentin. 💙🏕️☀️

Thank you to Ms. Lou, North Adams Public School District and Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts

On last weeks half day our Girls Inc afterschool classroom got to experiment with bubbles. They were given a variety of tools to create their own bubble wands. We think that classroom has a lot of future engineers with their critical thinking and creativity skills.

Thank you to our friends at Museum of Science, Boston and their amazing EiE kits.

leadership. Let’s make sure every girl has what she needs to succeed. Join us in calling for access to nutritious foods.
