Tomorrow's the big day! We finish off the afternoon with some great speakers and fascinating topics.

The Children's Trust's Ana Maria Ramos looks at why and how p**n literacy connects to PSB prevention. Ponny White of The Alliance Against Sexual Violence takes a deep dive into consent through the lens of child development and children's rights. Drs. Victoria Phillips and Michael Feder from the NYU Langone-Bellevue Children's Center and NYC Administration for Children's Services talk about the nuances and complexities of assessing young people with neurodivergence and intellectual disabilities displaying PSB. And one of the most commonly asked questions is how to work with families after sibling s*xual abuse. Dr. Jacqueline Page of the UT Health Scienes Center talks about the realities of separation and reunification.

Workshop series 2 of our conference on Tuesday is jam-packed with great topics on clinical skills and multidisiplinary topics that overlap with trauma, child maltreatment, and PSB that we rarely get to discuss.

Paige Brown joins us all the way from the Colorado to talk about a multidisciplinary response to PSB in schools. Dr. Anthony Campagna from the William James College IFIRE team takes on fire setting behavior, which shares many overlapping risk factors with PSB in youth with trauma histories. Boston Children’s Hospital's Julie Belmont, LICSW looks at how trauma history, common psychiatric medications, and other factors can impact kids' bodies. And Safer Society Foundation's David Prescott looks at the Good Lives' Model's applicability to young men with problematic online behaviors.

Thank you to our conference sponsors: NEARI School, The ALKU Foundation, Jeff Butts LICSW and Associates, New Hope Counseling Center, the Center for Integrative Psychological Services, The Whitney Academy, Justice Resource Institute, Seven Hills Foundation, Safer Society, UNHUSHED, and Carelon/MBHP.

Check out what's on deck for the first breakout session of Tuesday's in-person conference. Post-keynote, fueled with coffee, we're ready to take on prevention and treatment topics.

Lacye Day and Sydney Katayama are presenting the Arkansas Coalition Against Sexual Assault's child s*xual abuse prevention program designed for kids 3-8, "The Butterfly Effect." Safer Society Foundation's David Prescott moderates a panel with Dr. Alejandro Leguízamo of Roger Williams University and Canadian clinician Natalie Villeneuve on cross-cultural perspectives in treatment. And finally, find SafeBAE's Drew Davis talking about a youth-developed resource for youth who have harmed or worried they have.

We're really looking forward to next week's Lunch and Learn with UNHUSHED's Karen Rayne and Texas Alliance of Child & Family Services's Andrea Requenes!

Comprehensive, inclusive, pleasure-forward, consent-based s*xuality education is critical for all young people, including those who are child welfare involved and also those who have engaged in PSBs! This session outlines how and when child welfare involved youth fall through the s*x education cracks and how child welfare providers can be a bridge to healthy s*xuality. It supports providers as they consider their own biases, history, and knowledge base, and affirms that s*xuality education, provided in trauma informed ways, is an integral piece to the child welfare setting.

It's time for the first Lunch and Learn of the 2026-2027 year! Join the clinical and program leadership of Stevens Treatment Programs to talk about the critical role of the non-clinical staff as treatment partners and the model they've developed for fully integrating non-clinical staff in treatment, relationship development, and skill-building. Whether you work in a residential setting, or in a setting where your non-clinical colleagues are partners in your work, this session has something for everyone.

Thank you as always to The Children's Trust for your sponsorship of these programs, which make them free to everyone and provide free CEs for clinicians in MA! (This program has been approved for 1.0 CE for LMFTs and approval is pending for MSW, LMHC, and Psyc.)
