Renters, homeowners, organizers, housing advocates, and community leaders will speak including:
Tyler Jones, organizer with Springfield No One Leaves
Kat Miller, Greenfield Tenants Union, who is facing a large rent increase
Fernando Leon, BIO Leadership Team and Tenancy Preservation Program
Kimberly Gauthier, homeowner in favor of rent control
Sean Mannion, BIO Board Member and organizer with Abundant Housing
Carolyn Chou, Executive Director of Homes For All
Yakov Kronrod, landlord in favor of rent control

They will be collecting signatures in support of rent control! For anyone who wants to help beyond the rally, tbey will have signature-gathering packets available so you can collect signatures in your neighborhood, congregation, workplace, organization, or community network.
This is a moment to move from concern to action. Long-term housing solutions matter, but families facing rent increases and displacement need protections NOW. We need guardrails. We need stability. We need rent control.
