Bee The Light is a private foundation that empowers, encourages, showcases and assists young entrepreneurs and philanthropists. Our goal is to recognize children up to the age of 15 that want to make a difference in the world. My inspiration stems from Tough Girl Tutus and the fact that at a young age, my child wanted to do something nice for other children. I know there are tons of children like
my daughter, who are passionate about being decent human beings and impacting the lives of children less fortunate than her; whether it be from illness, financial hardships, etc. My initial goal is to raise funds and grant a donation to the child's charity or project of choice, once a month, $50. My thoughts are that if these children know people are behind them, and encouraging their good deeds, we can harness enough positive energy to keep them going to reach their goals. With so many of our youth finding the wrong outlets for their young minds to be lead down the wrong path, I want to show them that there is another way.
