More than a documentary, Pursuing Light is a reminder that one person's vision can transform communities, unlock potential, and create opportunities that ripple across generations. Bill Strickland's journey proves that beauty, hope, and high expectations are not luxuries—they are catalysts for change. The image seen here of a seventeen year old Bill Strickland throwing clay was taken by the world famous Charles “Teenie” Harris in Pittsburgh as Bill began his journey.

We're honored to share this story with audiences in Boston and grateful to the Roxbury Film Festival for celebrating films that inspire action and possibility.
