🥫❤️ OUR FOOD DRIVE IS OFFICIALLY UNDERWAY! ❤️🥫

The Harvest of Hope Food Drive donation box is officially set up at Cucina Vitale, and now we have just one question…

👀 WHO WILL BE OUR FIRST DONATION?!

We’re collecting non-perishable food items to help fight hunger right here in our community. Every can, box, bag, and donation adds up — and together, we can make a real difference for local families. ❤️

📍 Drop-off location:
Cucina Vitale
661 Andersen Drive
Pittsburgh, PA 15220

We’ll be collecting at the restaurant leading up to Drum Fest Pittsburgh on September 26th, where Harvest of Hope will also have a booth and continue collecting donations!

So… who’s going to be the first person to put something in that box?! 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️🥫

Please share and help us BEAT HUNGER! 🥁❤️

August is Overdose Awareness Month. 💜

For Frank and me, this month is deeply personal.

We know the devastation that addiction can bring—not only to the person struggling, but to their families, friends, and entire communities. We also know that recovery is possible. It saves lives, restores families, and gives people a chance to serve others in ways they never imagined.

Harvest of Hope exists because we believe every person has value and deserves hope. Whether we're providing food to families, supporting our neighbors, or building stronger communities, our mission is rooted in compassion and the belief that people can overcome even the darkest circumstances.

This month, we remember those we've lost to overdose, we stand with those who are still struggling, and we celebrate every person living in recovery. We also encourage everyone to help break the stigma surrounding addiction. Recovery is possible, and hope is real.

If you or someone you love is struggling, please know that you are not alone. 💜

🥁💛 BEAT HUNGER CHALLENGE — Drum Fest is teaming up with Harvest of Hope! 💛🥁

This year, Drum Fest isn't just about music, rhythm, and community — it's about taking care of our neighbors too.

We're partnering with Harvest of Hope to launch the Beat Hunger Challenge: a simple, powerful way for every festival-goer to make a difference.

Here's the challenge: 👉 Bring just ONE non-perishable food item with you to Drum Fest.

That's it. One can, one box, one jar — from every single person who walks through the gates. Together, thousands of small contributions add up to real relief for families facing food insecurity right here in Pittsburgh.

🥫 Canned vegetables & fruit 🫘 Beans 🍲 Soup 🐟 Proteins like tuna or chicken 🥣 Cereal & oatmeal 🥜 Peanut butter 🍝 Pasta & rice 📦 Boxed meals
..and honestly, we'll gladly accept any non-perishable item you bring!
Drop your item in the collection bins and at the Harvest Of Hope Tent - no sign-up, no hassle, just show up ready to give.

Let's prove that a community that drums together, feeds together. Join us in beating hunger, one item at a time.

Your donation will help Harvest Of Hope provide meals to hundreds of Pittsburgher's throught the Holiday season.

📍 Saturday, September 26, 2026 | Herr's Island, Pittsburgh, PA 🎟️ It's all FREE — bring one item, bring a friend, bring the beat. 1-9 PM

Today was a beautiful day of community and giving. 💛

Thank you to everyone who showed up to pick up their Harvest of Hope Pittsburgh Easter meals today. We were honored to provide heat-and-serve boxed meals for families to take home and enjoy with their loved ones.

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing volunteers who helped pack and distribute the meals. Your generosity and willingness to serve made this day possible.

We would also like to give a special thank you to Cucina Vitale for being the home base for today’s distribution and for their continued support of our mission.
