Our Lady of Mount Carmel Ladies of Charity The Ladies of Charity at OLMC minister to those among us undergoing challenging circumstances. The Ladies of Charity were founded in 1617 by St. Vincent de Paul.

Through the assistance of St. Louise de Marillac and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, they responded to the needs of the poor. Working without recognition for their efforts, they ministered to the poor among them. The Ladies of Charity at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish strive to follow the example of these saints by ministering to those among us undergoing challenging circumstances. We meet on the third Mo

nday of the month, generally from September through June. Our meetings are held at Schoppol Hall on the St. Teresa of Avila campus at 6:00 p.m. You are cordially invited to attend.

Heavenly Father, we come before you with heavy hearts, yet filled with deep gratitude for the beautiful life of our beloved Sister.

She lived her life as a beacon of Your love, dedicating herself to the poor, the sick, and those most in need.
Through her selfless charity, she was the hands and feet of Christ in our midst.

Lord, we now entrust her soul into Your merciful and loving embrace. Grant her eternal rest, and let perpetual light shine upon her.
May the virtues she practiced on Earth - her compassion, humility, and steadfast faith - be her eternal reward.

We also pray for her community, her family, and all who mourn her loss.
Comfort our grieving hearts, and help us to honor her legacy by continuing the work of love and service she so beautifully began.

May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, rest in Your divine peace.
