We’re almost out of ducks! Get quacking and head to the Shaler North Hills Library to get a duck in our June 27 duck race at Fawcett Fields in Glenshaw! Tickets are $5 for a chance to win $100. Multiple races for multiple chances to win. Whether you buy a duck or not, bring the kids to watch and take in the fun! We’ll have hotdogs and refreshments for sale. All proceeds go to the community and charitable organizations we support. Please join us!

It is time once again for our Tom Rogers Memorial Duck Race, named for the gentleman who came up with the idea for the race at a meeting and, sadly, passed away the next day. Each year the money we collect by selling ducks goes directly to various local and national organizations to help in areas such as leader dog training for the blind, eye and vision research, local community outreach programs, and more.

The Duck Race is scheduled for June 27th. No need to attend unless you want to join the fun, but please consider buying a duck or several for $5 each. Ducks you buy will be entered in one of five races, and the winners of each race wins $100. The five winners then move on to the finals, where the winner of that race gets another $100.

LAST SPRING SALE! If the Spring rains don’t wash us out, we’ll be hosting our final Brooms & Bags sale of the season, tomorrow, Saturday, April 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

We’ll be in two convenient spots on Mount Royal Boulevard: Elfinwild Presbyterian Church and St. Matthew’s Parish (St. Bonaventure campus). As always, we appreciate your support so we can help services for the blind, our local communities, and so much more!
