Congrats to our teen leaders who helped lots of local kids in need this holiday season with and CDG Sports Events. We couldn't have done it without our host sites, Pro Bike+Run (5 Pittsburgh locations) Cadence Clubhouse at Pro Bike + Run and Cadence At The Strip!

Each year the teens spread the word about the collection, engage their family, friends and neighbors, set up the drive with the organization, get drivers, and this year they even worked with their school key club. Congratulations to our student leaders of this project, Kelsey and Colton! A huge success!

Sacred Gate Farm is always the best experience! Fun, fellowship with others, and even a little work on the farm! Can’t wait to come pick delicious berries this summer. Thank you to the families who joined us today! Your hearts for serving others shine like a bright light!

Sacred Gate Farm service is only 5 days away! Looks like great weather and some new additions coming this year - The Chicken Paw Challenge ... no idea what this is but one of our teen leaders set it up so it will surely be (well, who knows what it will be!).

Families are encouraged to bring a donation to help support the work of the farm and pay for supplies/food provided by Sacred Gate Farm. The service event is free.

Thank you newcamp for running our crew through the SOLVE method of problem solving. Students are building a huge life sized piece of paper they will eventually fold into origami! Stay tuned for the big reveal!

From our teen Leader about Mission from Mars service today…

What a great weekend!! We served over 50 people this morning and had the chance to shine the light of Jesus. Our meal included chicken tenders, mac & cheese, peas, baked beans, and cookies!

Thank you to everyone who donated, bought ingredients, prepped the meal, and served downtown. We couldn’t have done it without you! Here are some pictures from this weekend.

Shout out to the cooking team making lunch for tomorrow. The student leader for this event organized the sign up genius, got all of the food donated, set up the time to cook, scheduled the volunteers for cooking as well as those who will serve the meal on the north side tomorrow. That’s Leadership & service to others! & a challenge for an adult! Very proud of our amazing teens as they continue to learn, grow, and serve together. 75 people will be very happy tomorrow!

Lots of gratitude to the teens who helped and those who donated to make tonight’s toy drive a success! We packed CDG Sports Events van at Cadence Clubhouse at Pro Bike + Run and Pro Bike+Run. Thank you for your support! Wish we grabbed more pics! The families at Play it Forward Pittsburgh will be so grateful!
