The Great Cloth Diaper Change ~ Pittsburgh Join us on April 22, 2017 as we attempt to break the current world record of 8459 babies being change Arrival Time

Please arrive by 10:45 a.m.

Cloth diapers have come a long way in recent years, and its time to stand up and be noticed. Celebrate Earth Day by joining the North American and International cloth diaper community while we attempt to break the record for the most cloth diapers changed simultaneously! The Great Cloth Diaper Change will be held on Saturday, April 22nd at 11 am EST. to allow us time to get everyone checked in. If

you arrive late, you may not be able to participate. Who Is Allowed Inside

The change itself is being held at the Center of Bellevue. The changing area will be roped off to separate it from spectators. Please do not bring extra children if you do not have another adult to watch them - we are unable to provide childcare and they are not allowed in the changing area. Once you and your child are inside the area, you may not leave and re-enter. Make sure you have your diaper and changing pad with you and that you have gone to the bathroom/got a drink of water/etc.! What You Need for the Change Itself

The child must be under 39 inches tall. You must have a changing pad or small blanket to protect the floor under your child. Your child may wear a disposable diaper on the way in, but they must be changed into a cloth diaper that can be purchased online, in a brick-and-mortar store, or available from a diaper service. Donation to RDA & Three Rivers Mother's Milk Bank

We will be accepting optional donations to benefit the Real Diaper Association and the Three Rivers Mother's Milk Bank. This is completely at your discretion. We will make it possible for you to make this donation in person at the event. Food Drive

In the past we have held a food drive for the North Hills Community Outreach and will likely do that again, stay tuned for details! Weather

Thank you SO much to everyone who came out today for the change! The official count for our location was 46. We raised a lot of money for the Real Diaper Association and Three Rivers Mothers' Milk Bank thanks to your generousity. We're especially grateful to Mary Beth Miller Photography for taking time out of her day to capture our event and can't wait to see the pictures!!

Thank you of course to all of the wonderful local businesses and companies who donated prizes for our raffle (winners have been announced in the local HBC group, which I'll link in comments, and will also be contacted by phone if they don't claim there, and prizes can be picked up at Happy Baby Company) and especially to the awesome volunteers who helped to stuff the goody bags and set up and who we couldn't have made this happen without

The big day is here! There is a large wedding at the church down the street, so parking in the most convenient lot is unfortunately not easy. There is another lot behind Fred Dietz Floral, as well as one at the end of our block closer to Kuhns. and I believe there is also a large one behind the Northwest Savings Bank. Sorry for the inconvenience!

An update! We will still be trying to break the current world record, it will just not be a Guinness certified attempt due to their new video requirements.

Exciting news! Registration is finally open for The Great Cloth Diaper Change ~ Pittsburgh! We're attempting to go back to the roots of the original event this year and are focusing more on fundraising for the Real Diaper Association and raising awareness for cloth diapering, but we still plan on having fun and quite a few prizes as well! We're also hoping to raise funds for the Three Rivers Mothers' Milk Bank and will be collecting new and used cloth diapers for our local chapter of Cotton Babies: Share the Love.

More details will follow of course, but we are planning our usual food drive to benefit North Hills Community Outreach, goody bags for the first attendees and a great raffle with prizes from Keekaroo, Olive & Marlowe, A Mother's Boutique, Beco Baby Carrier, sustainablebabyish|sloomb, inc., Sakura Bloom and more!
