Someone’s done you wrong? We’ve all been there. But before you decide to go and “get your lick back “, consider these slides.👆

When you make it your business to take someone down, it actually has a result quite opposite of the one you might be looking for. You might successfully take them down, but you will go down further.

Even if what they’ve done is legitimately wrong, never be the vessel that the devil uses to expose that person. Yes, I said the devil. God has not called you to plot revenge on ANYONE. Caveat - if someone did something illegal like rob you, obviously you would call the police. 😂 This is not what I’m talking about. That’s not vengeance, that’s just wisdom. I’m talking about you being offended, & now you think it’s your job to expose them to everybody who will listen. Be careful in all cases, but especially if this person is in the household of Faith.

1 Peter 3:9 “Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult.On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.”

Romans 12:19 “Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave the way open for [God’s] wrath; for it is written, Vengeance is Mine, I will repay (requite), says the Lord.”

Jude 9: “But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses,did not himself dare to condemn him for slander but said, “The Lord rebuke you!”

WILD that Michael, the Archangel wouldn’t even slander the devil because of he was once anointed! You would never let someone else harshly discipline your own kids and you get that from your Heavenly Father! God is serious about you attempting to give his kids a punishment you think they deserve. A far better way & one full of blessings is to walk in love! Keep your heart pure & let the Lord take care of it. Even if your reputation has been damaged because of them, the Lord will clear it up because He loves you! Because you stayed humble, you will rise to the top! Have you guys met our friend Aly Stewart? 👀 She’s one of our newest additions to the sisterhood! Last week we covered a new territory in the north side of Pittsburgh and realized something we hadn’t thought about – there are so many Spanish speakers there! Thank God for Aly, who was there to interpret. If you’ll be joining us at the next baby shower, look for Aly if you are a Spanish speaker or know someone who is! She’ll be helping us interpret the good news that is coming your way! Thank you, Aly! 🫶🏼
