We desire to serve children who suffer from the devastation of poverty by providing food, clothing, and educational resources to equip them with the skills to become future leaders. This is accomplished by providing for three essential needs: PHYSICAL, SPIRITUAL & EDUCATIONAL
PHYSICAL:
Welcome the Children has financially supported various partners, including AIC Zion school in how to best meet t
he material needs of the children there. Meeting the physical needs of those in desperate situations takes the burden off and allows people to look to other things besides where their next meal will come from. Welcome the Children funds are directed towards the needs of projected monthly budgets. This budgeting includes all of the food, clothing, school supplies, and infrastructure costs needed on a monthly basis. SPIRITUAL:
We are committed to engage with our partners to ensure that the children are growing spiritually. Even when all physical needs are met, there is still a gap. Offering to meet spiritual needs fills in that gap and gives people the hope through the life transforming message of the Gospel. Introducing Jesus Christ and His teachings to others brings a joy and hope that nothing else can offer. EDUCATIONAL:
Without an education, children are less likely to succeed. Welcome the Children desires to combat the effects of extreme poverty by giving children a chance to learn and grow into individuals who make a positive impact, not only in their communities, but the world at large.
