Landscape Architect Volunteer Wanted.
The Peters Friends Group is looking to improve the Brush Run Trailhead in Peters Township and is seeking a landscape architect who can provide creative ideas on how to enhance this area for our trail users.

Announcing Exciting Opportunity for Montour Trail users of Peters Township!!

In the last few years we have had quite a few requests to donate benches in honor of individuals and pets and companies. But now we are running out of proper spacing in which to put these without the trail being overloaded.
Peters Friends are offering the chance to have a brick etched and placed in one of the designated area for honoring those who wished to be remembered, for a donation. These bricks are a wonderful expression of honor for the important person, pet or event in your life. We call them honor bricks because the bricks memorialize those living and gone from our lives.

We have Fall drive starting to collect order forms until Feb 1 and Summer drive will collect until September 1st of ever year. Once received Montour Trail Council will get the bricks etched and Peters friendship will place the bricks in late spring in the designated areas. Currently designated area is identified as area around the bench honoring volunteers at Brush Run Road.

Bricks are offered in two sizes 4x8” and 8x8”. Each 4x8” donation for the brick is $150.00 donation, the 8x8” brick donation is $250.00. The clip art is an additional $25.00. The bricks will be set in mortar or concrete to ensure their permanence. A mini remembrance brick keepsake –a copy of the ordered brick is an additional $25.00.
