Yesterday marked our 7th annual Alzheimer's fundraiser and our very first Night at the Races and what an incredible night it was!

We are beyond grateful and so proud to share that, together, we raised over $8,500, making this our highest-grossing fundraiser to date! 💜

A heartfelt thank you to every sponsor, donor, and guest who made this event possible. We are especially grateful to Giant Oaks Winery and Icing on the Cake for their generosity and support in helping make the evening so special.

One of the best parts of the night was seeing so many familiar faces who have supported us year after year, while also welcoming so many new ones into our Memories Matter family. Your support means more than words can express.

Thank you for helping us race toward a future without Alzheimer's. We hope you'll join us again next year! 🏇💜

The horses are starting to fill up! Several have already been purchased, and we have absolutely loved seeing the creative, funny, and meaningful names everyone has come up with so far.

For just $20, you can purchase and name a horse for our Night at the Races – Racing Towards a Cure fundraiser!

🐎 Your horse's name will be:
• Printed in our event program
• Announced when your horse appears on screen during its race

🏆 If your horse wins its race, you'll receive a prize!

Whether you choose a name that makes people laugh, honors a loved one, promotes a business, or simply reflects your personality, your horse will become part of the night's excitement.

WOW... we are absolutely blown away.

When we first announced our Night at the Races fundraiser, we planned for a small, intimate event and expected to sell just 48 tickets. Thanks to the incredible support of our friends, family, and community, those tickets were spoken for in just three days!

Because of your enthusiasm and generosity, we have worked quickly with the winery to move into a larger space so we can accommodate more guests who want to join us in Racing Towards a Cure and supporting Alzheimer's awareness and research.

We cannot thank you enough for showing up and showing out the way you always do. Your support means the world to our family and to everyone affected by Alzheimer's disease.

With that being said, this truly is the FINAL call for tickets. While we have been able to expand our capacity, there is a firm limit on the larger room. Once these tickets are gone, we will not be able to add any additional seats.

Payment is required in advance to reserve and save your spot as seating is limited.

🏇 If you’ve never attended a Night at the Races before, prerecorded horse races will be shown throughout the evening and guests can cheer on their horses for chances to win INCREDIBLE prize baskets!

It’s hard to believe this will be the seventh year of our annual Alzheimer’s fundraiser. Over the years, you’ve supported us through raffle baskets, food trucks, co****le tournaments, vendor shows, trivia nights, poker tournaments, and so much more. Every single event has meant the world to us.

Because of you, we’ve been able to honor loved ones, raise awareness, and continue supporting a cause that is so deeply personal to our hearts. The generosity, encouragement, donations, and turnout year after year have never gone unnoticed. We truly could not do this without this incredible community behind us.

This year, we decided it was time to shake things up a little.

For Year 7, we’re leaving behind everything we’ve done before and trying something completely new! Something interactive, exciting, and full of energy. We can’t wait to bring everyone together for a night that will have you cheering, laughing, and maybe even feeling a little competitive.

We are excited to announce that our 7th Annual Alzheimers Fundraiser will be held in August!

In past years, we’ve hosted the event in the fall, but after hearing feedback from many of the amazing people who support and attend, we’ve decided to move it to the summer. We’re hopeful this new timing will make it even easier for everyone to join us for a meaningful and memorable day.

As always, we are so grateful for the continued support from our community as we come together to raise awareness and funds in the fight against Alzheimers.

More details will be shared as planning continues! But for now, mark your calendars for August 1st!

Year after year, we’re humbled by the incredible generosity of our community. This year was no exception. Together, we raised over $14,100, marking our most successful year to date!
