YP Voices Deandre Coleman gives his take on his highlight from the summer entrepreneur program. Being able to use his voice, learn about video editing was his favorite things. Youth Places has been a community staple for over 25 years.

YP Voices Dior Parrish gives his take on being apart of the program and watching hisself on the big screen. This was a memorable moment that he will never forget. Thanks to our YP staff for guiding, mentoring and listening to our youth they were able to have a great summer.

Youth Places and YP Voices premiered “Through Our Eyes“ Documentary at Point Park University theater. It was a great event filled with family, community leaders, public safety staff, foundations and the youth. Special thanks the Comcast & Community Forge with helping the summers programming. We look forward to continuing the programming this fall.

This time gives our staff space to learn, reset, and prepare for an exciting year of after-school programming ahead. We can’t wait to welcome our young people back on Tuesday, September 8! 

Take care of the team. Prepare with purpose. Come back ready for our youth. 🧡

From Science & Discovery to Entrepreneurship and Trades, our goal is simple: to ignite a spark! ✨ We want our youth to uncover their future career paths by actually doing the work and trying new things.
