Work is underway to create a true neighborhood in downtown Pittsburgh. The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust is turning the 8th Street Block in the Cultural District into a new civic space, Arts Landing. This project is part of our work with downtown stakeholders, Allegheny County Government, City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny Conference on Community Development, and Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh to reimagine and revitalize downtown, a project made possible through Gov. Josh Shapiro's $600 million investment and private and philanthropic commitments.

Downtown will dazzle this holiday season. It’s all about delight, from Light Up Night lineup (hey The Fray) and iconic shopping chalets at Market Square to the newly installed Aurora light experience at Mellon Square. As Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership CEO Jeremy Waldrup says, “This region celebrates the holidays in a pretty special way, returning to many beloved traditions while also embracing new and engaging experiences.”
