Congratulations again to our very first shopper at our new Crafton-Ingram Goodwill store, Cherie!

Cherie was first in line for our Grand Opening and officially became the first person to shop at our newest location. Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us and welcome Goodwill to the Crafton-Ingram community!

52 Weeks of Goodwill, Week 34: Meet Levi, a member of Goodwill’s most recent Fatherhood FORGE cohort!

Through Goodwill’s Fatherhood FORGE program, Levi strengthened his role as a father while being prepared to make a positive impact in his community. This program helps fathers develop communication, parenting, and relationship skills to become more engaged and secure parents.

During Levi’s time in the program, he found guidance on co-parenting as well as understanding different perspectives on fathering. Reflecting on his experience, he shared, “I feel like a better father already. This program has really helped me learn more about patience and communication when faced with many fatherhood-related situations.”

His experience demonstrates how Fatherhood FORGE helps fathers build stronger relationships, greater confidence, and better opportunities for their families and communities.

Applications for Goodwill's Give Back Program are NOW OPEN!

Goodwill is seeking 501(c)(3) nonprofit partners across Southwestern Pennsylvania and North Central West Virginia to participate in our Give Back Program.

Through the program, partner agencies receive Goodwill shopping vouchers that can be distributed to the individuals and families they serve, helping remove barriers to employment, stability, and opportunity.

52 Weeks of Goodwill, Week 33: Meet Josh, a recent Auberle GED graduate who is building a path toward a career in construction!

Josh first came to Goodwill’s testing center to begin taking his exams. After learning about his interest in construction, Goodwill’s staff connected him with our YouthBuild classroom, where he could continue working toward his education and career goals.

Goodwill partners with Auberle to offer GED and construction instruction through YouthBuild to younger people ages 16-24. As part of the program, Josh has gained both academic and hands-on experience in skills such as building, electrical wiring, and painting. Throughout the journey, Goodwill has worked alongside Josh to help him overcome barriers, connect, and stay on track with the resources he needs and has available to reach all of his goals, including his dream of becoming a heavy equipment operator.
