52 Weeks of Goodwill, Week 39: When Courtney enrolled in Goodwill’s GoodStart program in summer 2025, she was pregnant, experiencing homelessness, and working toward greater stability for herself and her child. With help from a Goodwill Housing Navigator, Courtney secured an apartment and moved into her new home by September. Goodwill also connected her with utility and transportation assistance to help her maintain that stability.

This summer, Courtney was also one of 56 households that received approximately $1,000 in groceries through Goodwill’s housing programs, helping ease the cost of food and household essentials. With stable housing and continued support, Courtney is now focused on finding employment and building a secure future for her family.

Congratulations, Courtney!
