⚽🏆 Congratulations to Paul Garlitz! 🏆⚽

As many of you have seen, the legendary 1981 Mt. Lebanon High School Boys Soccer Team is being inducted into the Hall of Fame, a well-deserved honor for one of the most successful teams in school history. Congratulation to the team.

We're especially proud to recognize Paul Garlitz, a valued MLSA Board Member, who was a member of that remarkable team. Paul's passion for soccer and dedication to the Mt. Lebanon soccer community continue to make a positive impact on players and families today.

Please join us in congratulating Paul and his former teammates on this outstanding achievement and well-earned recognition!

The CAS Soccer Camp is returning to Mt. Lebanon this summer and offers players a unique opportunity to learn from established professional coaches with extensive experience in the European game.

This isn't your typical summer camp. CAS focuses on player development through a proven European training methodology that emphasizes technical skills, decision-making, creativity, and confidence on the ball. Players will be exposed to new training concepts and coaching styles that are rarely available at the local level.

Whether your child is looking to improve their game, gain a fresh perspective on training, or simply experience a higher level of coaching, this camp provides an outstanding learning environment led by experienced soccer professionals.

Junior Coaches Needed for World Cup Summer Series

The Mt. Lebanon Soccer Association is currently looking to hire enthusiastic and dependable Junior Coaches to help lead our World Cup Summer Series this summer.

This is a great opportunity for players entering 9th grade or above who enjoy working with younger athletes and want to gain coaching experience while earning some extra money.

Responsibilities Include:

Coaching and managing teams during games

Running game-day activities

Promoting sportsmanship and teamwork

Serving as a positive role model and influence for our players

We are seeking coaches who are highly available and dependable throughout the program. Consistent attendance is important to providing a great experience for our participants.

This past Sunday we ran into a strong Plum Mustangs side in GPSL MLSA Juniors Over 19 play. We came out prepared and set the tone early, competing hard and showing we belong in that match.

But as the game went on, we let it slip. Final score 6–3 doesn’t reflect what we’re capable of, but it does reflect where we broke down and what we need to fix.

Goals by Noah Defeo and Jumping Jack O’Brien.

This is one of those matches you don’t ignore—you learn from it. Transition moments, communication, and consistency over 90 minutes all have to be better if we want results against quality teams.

No excuses. We take the lessons, we put in the work this week, and we come back sharper. The standard doesn’t change.

Dear MLSA Families,

We are getting close to something really special for our MLSA Night with the Pittsburgh Riveters! Saturday, June 27th @ 7:00pm ET F.N.B. Stadium, 510 W. Station Square Drive against top rival in Steel City. What a match this will be.

Thanks to the amazing support from our families, we have already sold nearly 80 tickets, which means our players have unlocked:
✅ Field-Level Warm-Up Watch
✅ Player Tunnel Experience
✅ Player Walkout Experience

Now we are pushing toward our final goal:
🎯 100 Tickets Sold = MLSA Players Mini Match at Halftime!

This would give our players the incredible opportunity to play on the field during halftime in front of the crowd and be part of a memorable night celebrating girls soccer in Pittsburgh.

This event is a great chance for our girls to:

⚽ Support the growth of the women’s game
⚽ Represent MLSA on the field
⚽ Create a fun team experience with friends and teammates
