I know Shawn’s physique won him the Olympia but if people only knew the real Shawn underneath the flexatron they’d be shocked that this quiet mono toned m**o has been through SOME S**T! Of course I think Shawn’s physique is killer. But I’m so proud of him for the hoops he’s BEEN jumping through. Each year they say “get bigger” ,then “Need to be tighter in the midsection”, “Face doesn’t look confident on stage”, “Routine needs more emphasis”...... Well ✔️✔️✔️... My mans came out with that winner smirk on his face and pose after pose he got more hyped and THAT ROUTINE! Those transitions! He killed it!
Shawn doesn’t talk a-lot about his struggles to people but if you really knew all he’s been through to even have competed last year to even make the biggest comeback of the decade and win this year you would 💩 your pants.
The reason I even won NY last year and have continued to not give up is because of him. I moved to Cali and the job and house I had lined up fell through and I’ll never forget it. Shawn saw me sitting alone at Golds And he said “I train at 2:00 everyday”. “Show up then and we’ll train”. So I drove 2-3 hours everyday to train with him. So I’m so excited for him and I’m excited for the sport because now I know next year we will see an even better Shawn, prob gonna see the best Phil make his comeback and maybe now some old new faces that now feel the hope we all feel. Congrats Uthan you’re Number 14👏🏽👏🏽🏆🥇
