Recently, ACA's Code of Ethics Revision Task Force (E.R.T.F.) came together to steadfastly continue its substantive review and revision of the 2014 ACA Code of Ethics.

Under the professional guidance of Drs. Marcelle Giovannetti (the E.R.T.F. Chair) and Lynn Linde (ACA’s Chief of Professional Practice), the Code of Ethics revision process was done in alignment with recent evolving best practices within the mental health care industry as well as changes in ACA organizational experiences, while also identifying and correcting gaps in the existing Code of Ethics.
