CFM faith and fellowship are active across the country!

The May issue of ACT shared the recent activities of the CFM families at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in San Ramon, California. Their group made the Lenten and Easter seasons more meaningful through faith enrichment, family-centered gatherings, and collaborative activities rooted in the CFM mission.

Thank you to the St. Joan of Arc CFM families for sharing how your group is living out faith, family, fellowship, and action in your parish community.

We invite other CFM groups around the country to share what you are doing, too! Your stories encourage and inspire other families to put faith into action in their own parishes and communities.

Before today ends, think of three blessings from the week.

They don't have to be big:
☀️ A sunny day
☕ Coffee with a friend
🙏 A prayer answered
❤️ Time with family

Gratitude helps us recognize God's presence in our everyday lives.

“Marriage is a vocation. Do not be afraid of marriage or of forming a family.” — Pope Leo XIV

In a world that often treats marriage as a burden, a temporary arrangement, or something to be postponed indefinitely, Pope Leo reminds young people of a beautiful truth:

Marriage is not merely a human contract. It is a vocation—a calling from God.

God created man and woman for communion, love, and family. Through the Sacrament of Matrimony, a husband and wife become a living sign of Christ's love for His Church.

Many today fear commitment. They fear sacrifice. They fear bringing children into an uncertain world.

Yet every generation has faced challenges. The answer has never been fear, but faith.

The family remains the first school of love, the first place where the faith is taught, and the foundation of every healthy society.

To those discerning their future: do not be afraid to answer God's call.

The world needs holy marriages.

The Church needs holy families.

And children need mothers and fathers who will lead them to heaven.

Every CFM story begins somewhere—with an invitation, a friendship, a need for community, or a desire to grow in faith as a family.

What brought you to CFM?

Was it a friend, your parish, a small group, a retreat, or simply the Holy Spirit at work?

Share your story in the comments—we’d love to hear how your CFM journey began.

CFM faith, family, and fellowship are alive and well in Baltimore, Maryland!

Our Lady of the Fields CFM Group recently shared about their lively monthly gathering at the parish, complete with a potluck, Social Inquiry for parents, and supervised time for the children — who, we hear, love CFM!

With 13 active families of all ages and stages, this group is growing together in faith and friendship while also putting love into action. During Lent, they served a parish Soup Supper, and they are already looking ahead to their next action: another Family Fun Night dance in July.

Thank you, Our Lady of the Fields CFM Group, for sharing this beautiful example of CFM in action!

We would love to hear from more CFM groups. What is your group doing in your parish, family, or community? Send us your stories and photos so we can celebrate and share the good work happening across CFM.

This week, as we continue in the joy of Pentecost, we’re reflecting on the ways the Holy Spirit brings renewal, hope, and growth into our lives.

How have you experienced “new life” this year?

Maybe it has come through family, prayer, healing, a new beginning, or a renewed sense of purpose. Share your reflection in the comments—we’d love to hear how God is moving in your life.
