Congratulations to AMA Bethel Park Campus 8th grader Lilliana who received an invitation from Moonshot Museum and Dr. Kenneth Harris II to serve as a Student Ambassador for the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope!

Student Ambassadors were selected based on their investment in their communities, educational achievements, and desire to turn their curiosity into the careers they want.

Students recently spent the day at the Kennedy Space Center connecting with others who share a passion for space exploration, STEAM, and what comes next. The Roman Space Telescope represents what is possible when curiosity, innovation, and bold ideas come together.

Lilliana will also participate in workshops with the Moonshot Museum and culminate in the students presenting their work at the Junior Space Conference in October at the Sarah Heinz House. Congrats to Lilliana!

🧪 Exciting Times for Our Young Scientists! 🥼✨

K–5 students kicked off the Mad Science Crazy Chemworks after-school program this week! Hands-on experiments like testing Ph and creating volcano reactions, provided endless fun as our students explore the amazing world of chemistry.

A big thank you to Mad Science for bringing this incredible learning experience to our campuses! 🔬💥

💡 Our sixth grade religion class has been learning about how Creation is God's gift to us. They spent quiet time outside today admiring the beauty of the world around them. They were instructed to spend time thinking about what they see and drawing pictures of things that are gifts to the world or that caught their attention.💡

A special morning praying the Family Rosary together—and even sweeter with a beloved alum and current Seton La Salle student joining us! 🥰

The Library at our Bethel Park campus is officially open to K-5 students every Wednesday and Friday. Our volunteers had a great first day reading to students, leading activities, and helping them find the perfect books.📚🍎📝💙

🔴 Dot Day is a global celebration of creativity, courage, and collaboration that takes place every year on September 15th. Our Mt. Lebanon Campus 4th & 5th graders read The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds and talked about what it means to take creative risks, try something new, and make our own unique mark.

After reading the book, they headed outside for a fun coffee filter activity. The students created their own designs on coffee filters using markers, and then sprayed them with water to watch the colors blend and transform into something completely new. It was such a simple activity, but the students had so much fun seeing their designs come to life!

It was a fun way to celebrate creativity and remind the students that sometimes you just have to make a mark and see where it takes you! 😊

🌞 Kindergartners at our Mt. Lebanon Campus learned about the creation story. How God made *everything* and saw that it was good. We made a windsock that included things that God made.🌳

🌈 Our Little Runners rocked the trail! To track their laps, the kids collected matching colored stickers at each pass, building a bright paper rainbow along the way.

All this fun is building strong legs and big smiles as we gear up for our upcoming meet on October 5th. So proud of these tough little athletes! 🏃💨

Inspired by the Survivor Tree at Ground Zero, our Bethel Park Campus students helped create a living memorial on our own campus.

Today, we dedicated the AMA BP Freedom Tree in honor of the lives lost and the heroes who served on September 11.

As our Freedom Tree grows and flourishes each school year, it will serve as a daily reminder to our students of hope, strength and resilience.

Twenty-five years later, we still remember.

Our school community gathered in prayer on our Mt. Lebanon Campus to remember the lives lost on September 11 and honor the courage and sacrifice shown that day.

Led by our 8th graders, the service included patriotic songs, prayer, and a Gospel reading and homily from Father Michael.

Our red, white and blue dress-down day also raised funds for an Ave Maria Academy cobblestone at the 9/11 Memorial in New York City—a lasting symbol that we will never forget.

God bless America. 🇺🇸
