On October 22, 2025, PA democrat state legislators voted to advance six openly wicked bills to continue the slaughter of pre-born babies. Language often used in this type of legislation is the deceptive terminology of “reproductive health.” They call it “reproductive freedom,” the Bible calls it “murder” (Ex. 20:13), and no one is free to murder anyone. Abortion has nothing to do with reproductive health, not for the mother, and especially not for the child that is killed in the womb — abortion is murder, it is child sacrifice. God hates it, and we must, too.
The bills that the PA legislators wish to advance would make PA one of, if not the most, openly pro-abortion states in the U.S. God’s Word is true; all those who hate him love death (Prov. 8:36). This truth is on full display with the wickedness currently promoted at the state capitol. The full-on assault against defenseless babies in the womb is a direct affront to God by attacking His image-bearers in the womb.
The hatred for God and for the pre-born has been unmasked in Harrisburg, PA. The bills that are to be considered and voted upon are linked below. In sum, HB 1640, 41 and 43 gives protections to the abortionist who murders the child in the womb; HB 2005 removes informed consent and waiting periods; HB 670 seeks to criminalize those who peacefully plead with mothers not to murder their child at abortion mills; and, HB 1957 seeks to canonize abortion up to the point of birth into the PA constitution.
Horrific as it is, the current abortion limit of 24 weeks to murder a child in the womb is not enough for some legislators in PA — no, they would rather have a no-holds-barred approach to slaughtering innocent babies in the womb. They want women to be able to immediately murder their child in the womb, at any point of the pregnancy that they desire, without penalty, and for all who oppose them to be criminalized for “interfering.” These legislators want to protect the hands that shed innocent blood — hands that God hates (Prov. 6:17) — all the while removing all protections from the most innocent among us, babies in the womb.
The Church must stand and fight against this evil. Reach out to your local state legislators and demand a “No” vote against all of these wicked bills. Not one of them honors God, but rather, they open the door for unfettered slaughter of babies and continued bloodshed of the innocent in our state.
Rescue those who are being taken away to death; hold back those who are stumbling to the slaughter. If you say, “Behold, we did not know this,” does not he who weighs the heart perceive it? Does not he who keeps watch over your soul know it, and will he not repay man according to his work?
