Some chapters of our lives leave a kind of grief that doesn't disappear just because the calendar says enough time has passed.

But every morning still offers us a choice.

To take one more step.
To open one more door.
To believe that our story isn't over.

If you're carrying something heavy today, please know you're not alone.

The path forward doesn't require a giant leap. Sometimes it begins with simply deciding that today deserves a chance.

Today is a fresh start.

In today's Success Circle gathering, we talked about 2026 goals and our mid-year status. It wasn't a report card; no one got in trouble. What we focused on is what we really want to accomplish in the last six months of 2026, and what it will be like to celebrate that achievement six months from now.

So many women focus on what they didn't do, instead of celebrating exactly where they are and where they are heading.

PLEEEASE do not beat yourself up. It's not too late to start again.

There’s a voice inside so many women that says:

“You’re too old.”
“You’re not talented enough.”
“You’re not qualified.”
“Who do you think you are?”

And so many dreams end before they even begin.

But what if you stopped listening to that voice… and started anyway?

➟ Start the business.
➟ Write the book.
➟ Paint the painting.
➟ Take the class.
➟ Apply for the opportunity.
➟ Share your ideas.

Remember, confidence doesn’t usually come first.

As we move through Memorial Day weekend and reach the end of what many women jokingly call “May-vember” 😊, I hope you’ll also give yourself permission to pause a little.

You do not have to spend every moment catching up, planning ahead, preparing for summer, or carrying the weight of everything at once.

And in the middle of all the busy schedules and responsibilities, may we also take a moment to remember and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. 🇺🇸

For months, I kept trying to make a business relationship work because I invested a lot of time, money, and energy.

Every red flag turned into:
“This has to get better.”
“Maybe he can fix it.”
“Let’s give it more time.”

And honestly? Some things were fixed. Still, it was obvious this wasn’t working.

Over the weekend, I finally said, “We’re done here.”

After researching thoroughly, I moved everything to a new platform. I got more done in a few hours than I’d been able to accomplish in months.

It was EASY.
Almost effortless.
No roadblocks.
No red flags.
And honestly… such a relief.

It made me realize how often I’ve stayed too long in situations that aren’t working. I am loyal to a fault, and label that as “let’s keep trying”.

But things seem to always work out, and especially so when I stop forcing what was not a good fit in the first place.

We rescued Zeus last January, and he’s been fully committed to living his best life ever since.
His daily schedule: Nap. Relocate. Nap again.
