Mt. Lebanon and Dormont residents who need help as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic can get assistance from Neighborhood Aid, a newly organized group of municipal and borough staff and volunteers.
Call 412-253-4104, weekdays from 9 to 5, or visit https://neighborhoodaid.org, and be connected to a customer service representative versed in a vast array of available services. Get help with obtaining food and medication, financial assistance, business resources and general information. Volunteers also are available for errands for those who cannot or should not leave their homes to get urgently needed supplies.
The service is free, although residents are expected to pay for any purchases requested. It will continue as long as there is need.
