We are all over the Pittsburgh area today with four rabbits seeing three different vets!

Beatrice & Birdie, two of the Baldwin buns are getting spayed today.
• Beatrice’s spay & vaccines are sponsored
• Birdie still needs a sponsor(s) $120 for the spay and $70 for the vaccines

Mrs. T, one of the Burgh buns, is headed to the vet due to difficulty swallowing and tremors.

Opal is post-op from having a large ovarian cyst removed and isn’t doing well post-op. She still won’t eat on her own.

🌟 ADOPTABLE CATS 🌟

Help us find homes for Stoick and Miss Molly!

🐱 STOICK is estimated to be 1 1/2 years old and has no known health issues. He is friendly and playful. He is long-haired but pretty easy to groom. Stoick was rescued by a Good Samaritan after living most, if not all, of his life outdoors. He came to us last winter and has been patiently waiting for his forever home. Stoick loves love, food and playing!

🐱MISS MOLLY is estimated to be 3 years old and has no known health issues. She is friendly and loves spending time with people. She would love to watch TV, read books or just chill with you. She prefers a home without young children or chaos. She enjoyed other cats nearby but not chaotic kittens. Miss Molly was found by a property manager left behind in a vacant apartment. She had been alone for days before being discovered. She’s used to the quiet life. So far we’ve discovered she loves catnip and watching “rat tv” (aka watching the rescue rats play)!

Both cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Also, their adoption fee has been partially sponsored to help them find forever homes!

Requirements:
🏠 indoor-only
💉 other pets must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines
💗 ready for a new family member to love

🚨 THREE URGENT NEEDS FOR UNDERGROUND SQUEAKS 🚨

We have a few immediate needs where our amazing community could really help us out! ❤️🐰🐱

🐰 1. LAST-MINUTE RABBIT FOSTER NEEDED

We’re looking for a foster home by this weekend for one friendly, healthy bonded pair OR a large-breed rabbit for a minimum of one week.

Opening up a foster space will allow us to better accommodate some upcoming medical boarders and fosters who need care.

If you may be able to help, please reach out ASAP!

🏥 2. MEDICAL FUNDS NEEDED

We have a busy medical week ahead:

🐰 Opal — exploratory surgery
🐰 Odie — veterinary visit for a possible hernia
🐱 Olive Oyl — one of our Northern Cambria County cats, who needs to see the vet for ongoing medical concerns

Any donation, no matter the amount, helps us get these animals the care they need. ❤️

🧺 3. WE NEED A WASHING MACHINE!

Our animal laundry washing machine has officially given up. 😭

And while we love our local laundromat… the laundromat is going to make US broke. 😂

If you or someone you know is getting rid of a working washing machine, we would absolutely love to give it a new home!

We are headed back to the vet for a follow-up with Neva. She is eating, drinking and using the bathroom which is good. But she is still “squeaking”, acting aggressive (which is completely out of character for her) and her temp has gone from low to fever.

Send sweet Neva some love tonight. She’s having a rough time after today’s spay surgery. The surgery went well (and was very needed as she was pulling hair to make nests). She started vocalizing when we got home and her temp is a bit low. We are getting her warmed up & comfy and will continue to monitor her 🫶

Neva was the only survivor of her litter which transferred to us when they started passing away one by one unexpectedly. That was when they were about eight weeks old. She is now almost eleven months old and one of our most playful, friendly and healthy rescue rabbits!
