The mission of the Society of Saints Cyril and Methodius, an Eastern Catholic Vocations Ministry, is to foster and promote religious vocations in the Byzantine Catholic Church. We are dedicated to a ministry of prayer, awareness, affirmation, and support to clergy, religious, seminarians, deacon candidates, and those in formation for religious life.

Seven men from the Archeparchy of Pittsburgh were ordained to the subdiaconate yesterday at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Munhall. Randy Tomko, Christopher Cain, Alex Broussard, Chad Durante, Michael Bracelin, Andrew Clayton and Lucas Wynn. Axios!

Bishop Robert Pipta joined fellow bishops of Region XV at the USCCB Spring Meeting in Florida from June 8–12, 2026 gathering for several days of prayer, fraternity, and discussion on the pastoral life of the Church. The gathering marked Archbishop Paul Coakley’s first address as USCCB president and focused on topics such as safe‑environment protocols, sainthood causes, and updates on the Synod. The bishops concelebrated mass which included the consecration of the Sacred Heart.
