What is The Asservo Project
The Problem
Human trafficking is organized criminal activity in which human beings are treated as possessions to be controlled and exploited, often in the context of prostitution or forced labor.
Child exploitation is the act of employing, persuading, or coercing a minor to engage in sexually explicit conduct for visual production purposes, and/or sexually assaulting a minor.
Human trafficking is the fastest growing criminal enterprise globally, generating more than $150 billion US dollars annually. It is modern-day slavery.
There are more than 40 million slaves worldwide. Victims are frequently sold into the slave trade and exploited by force, fraud, or coercion. It happens in every nation, on every continent, everywhere.
It is violent, manipulative, and dehumanizing. It is abuse and it must end.
Our Response
We believe that every person is entitled to live in peace and choose their path free from fear. Human trafficking and child exploitation, in all of their forms, rob the freedom and basic rights of the individual. It is our mission to stop these heinous practices and hold criminals accountable.
Through intelligence gathering, collaboration with law enforcement, networking with valued partners, and educating the general public, we actively work to end human trafficking and expose its networks wherever and whenever they manifest.

Why I am having a night at the races.
Five years ago, a lifelong friend of mine, Joe Sweeney, started The Asservo Project, a non-profit organization, to stop human trafficking. Joe asked me to be on the board of directors and I accepted. He had traveled the world as an independent contractor for Homeland Security and had seen the atrocities around the world and he wanted to do his part to stop the pain that he saw. As a parent, I was impacted by what I learned by being on the board. It is impossible to share everything I know with you but I am not sure that I would survive day one if anything like this happened to my children.
I always thought that Human Trafficking was in other countries, not in the United States, and certainly not in my backyard. I discovered that Pennsylvania was in the top ten states for human trafficking!
My goal is to support the Asservo Project’s efforts to bring awareness to our community and empower students through our awareness education. Our efforts give The Asservo Project the resources to provide the Tip Line which will rescue victims of human trafficking. By giving your support, you are helping our cyber division, which works tirelessly to locate these child predators and provide information to law enforcement for arrests to be made.
