It is with a heavy heart and much sadness that I write this post. Long-time Troop 48 Scoutmaster and dear friend, Mr. Ben Reed, passed away on May 25, 2022. Mr. Reed was a selfless leader who guided countless boys in Troop 48, for over 20 years. Through his leadership, boys became leaders and Eagle Scouts. He led the Troop long after his own boys had left scouting. He was a board member of AdvanceCamp for over a decade and helped thousands of boys fulfill their Trailhead requirements. Mr. Reed is survived by his two sons, Ben, Jr., and Talon. Mr. Reed will be deeply missed. Feel free to add your favorite memory of Mr. Reed here. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested
