The Frederick Douglass Alumni Association welcomes respectful discussion and differing viewpoints regarding matters affecting the organization.

However, to protect the integrity of the Association, its members, officers, volunteers, and stakeholders, any comments containing personal attacks, defamatory statements, harassment, threats, profanity, or knowingly false information will be removed immediately.

Individuals who violate these guidelines or engage in disruptive/rumored information, abusive, or inappropriate conduct WILL BE blocked from the Association's social media platforms at the discretion of FDAA administrators.

We encourage constructive dialogue that focuses on issues, ideas, and solutions. Our goal is to maintain a respectful environment that reflects the values and mission of FDAA while minimizing the risk of legal liability and reputational harm to the organization.

This tree is planted in sacred remembrance of Homar Jones and James Rogers, whose lives were planted firm in faith. Rooted deep, they grew strong through seasons of trial and triumph, offering shade, strength, and fruit to all who walked beside them.Though their work on this earth is finished, God gathered them in His perfect time. Now they rest beside Jesus, where faith has become sight. As this tree rises heavenward, may it remind us that the righteous flourish like a tree planted by living waters, and that a life grounded in Christ never truly fades—it only changes place.
