Grief in Motion is a holistic, body-centered monthly gathering that explores the healing and transformation that can accompany loss and change. Gathering for over four years, this supportive community welcomes all forms of grief.

Together, we will engage in gentle practices designed to bring ease to the body and mind. Our time will include guided movement inspired by the Kundalini yoga tradition, breathwork, stillness, sharing, and live music and sound.

A suggested contribution of $20 helps make this event possible and supports the ongoing work of heart2heartnc. We offer a sliding scale based on ability to pay, and no one will be turned away for lack of funds.

Our friends at Grieving Hearts for Animals and Softer Path Vet have a wonderful monthly offering. The Animal Companion Death Cafe is a safe, open-hearted space to share stories, ask questions, and explore the many ways we honor our animas in life, in dying, and in death. This is a gentle, judgment-free space for conversation, comfort and community support.

WHEN: Second Thursday of the month 6:00-7:30pm. Upcoming dates: August 13, September 10, October 8, November 12 and December 10

WHERE: Pittsboro Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall (95 East Street in Pittsboro)
