🎶 A Special Farewell to Mr. Smith 🎶

Mr. Smith, longtime Perry Harrison music teacher, will be moving on from Perry Harrison to become Northwood High School's choral music director for the 2026-2027 school year. He will be greatly missed, and present and past students, parents, and staff are invited to post well wishes, memories, or thank you messages to Mr. Smith on the Kudoboard (link below) by June 9th so it can be presented to Mr. Smith on the June 10thlast day of school. Thank you for your help honoring him and giving him a loving Mariner send off!

Parents, staff, community members, and students ages 10+ with a parent are welcome!

🛍️ What Will Volunteers Do?
Help straighten the store, hang clothing, and do light cleaning. No experience needed — trained supervisors will be there to help!

Chatham PTA Thrift Shop (Cole Park location beside Dollar General)

💙 Why Volunteer?
Every work group shift earns money for Perry Harrison Elementary! Plus, volunteers receive 50% off clothing, shoes, books, and toys at the end of their shift. 🙌

⚓Thank you so much to the parents who stopped to purchase drinks/muffins, we appreciate your support! Every purchase helped with covering the cost to provide our staff a drink this morning! ⚓

A special thank you to our volunteers that helped get the rest of orders from staff and delivered drinks back and forth! ❤️

Day #5 Ending on a Sweet Note! We hope this week our teachers and staff have felt appreciated and know how much we are grateful for all they do. Thank you to all the parent volunteers and all the kind donations that helped our vision come together. ⚓
