Summer Quest is off to a roaring start! 🦁☀️

Our Elementary campers kicked off Lion Week by learning fascinating facts about lions and creating their own lion crafts. The Middle School campers did some engineering where campers were challenged to build free-standing paper towers using only four sheets of paper and a weight. The real test came when their structures had to remain standing through three different fan speeds!

Campers also sharpened their Bible knowledge during a fun round of Bible trivia with Mr. Convington. It was a great first day filled with creativity, teamwork, learning, and God’s truth!

We can’t wait to see what the rest of the summer holds! 🤩👏

We are so excited to congratulate Mrs. Maria Brown on receiving the David W. Gottshall Teacher Excellence Award for the elementary school! 👏

Here are just a few of the qualities used describe her:

“She is very diligent in her lesson planning and meeting every student’s needs. She is very intentional with every single lesson she gives in the classroom. She encourages her students and shows them love and kindness while discipling them.

She is one of the first teachers to arrive and one of the last teachers to leave each day. She leads fellow teachers each Wednesday morning in a hallway huddle of prayer and she always finds a way to be positive and uplifting and spread Christ’s love wherever she goes.

She consistently communicated weekly with parents and partnered well with moms and dads. She created a loving atmosphere with her students and has excellent classroom management. Her students knew what she expected of them at all times.

Kind of like Mary Poppins, she is practically perfect in every way.”

Our Summer Quest Little Explorers and Adventurers camps are starting next week and it’s not too late to register!

Our Middle School Adventures (Entering grades 6-9) camp offers fun programs like games, sports, STEM activities, field trips, and more! 🧩🏐🔬🎒
